How they differ from water fittings

Water press lines operate up to 16 bar and from −10 to 110 °C, while gas lines operate up to 5 bar and from −20 to 70 °C. Fittings from water lines are not used in gas installations, even if they match in size and profile. That is why it is worth keeping them separate in the warehouse and on the shelf, clearly labelled “gas”.

The V or M profile is chosen in the same way as for the water line, according to the customer’s press tool jaws. More in the guide V or M profile?.

Documents for customers

For gas installations, installers and investors ask about documents more often. We make approvals and declarations for the gas lines available to wholesalers in the document library after verification. The gas installation itself is carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with regulations.
