2. What data we collect
Enquiry form. When you submit the form, we receive the data you enter in it: your e-mail address and telephone number (required) and, optionally, your name, company name, company profile, town or province and the content of your enquiry, including the list of items for a quote.
E-mail and telephone contact. When you write to or call us directly, we process the data provided in that correspondence or conversation.
Technical data. Each time a page is displayed, the hosting server automatically records technical data such as the IP address, date and time, the address of the subpage visited and the browser type. We do not use it to identify individuals.
Providing data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address and telephone number we will not be able to respond to an enquiry sent via the form.
3. Purposes and legal bases of processing
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Responding to an enquiry, preparing a quote or offer | Art. 6(1)(a) (consent given in the form) and Art. 6(1)(b) (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) |

We do not make automated decisions about you and do not profile you.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell data. Access to it is limited to authorised Armatex employees and to entities that provide services to us and process data on our behalf:
- Netlify, Inc.: website hosting (including recording technical data) and handling of the form: it stores submitted enquiries and sends notifications to our e-mail inbox,
- e-mail providers that run our inbox,
- GitHub, Inc.: storage of the website code and a copy of the website on GitHub Pages (technical data when that copy is displayed),
- accounting firm, courier and transport companies, IT providers: to the extent necessary to fulfil orders and run the business.
We may also disclose data to public authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some service providers (Netlify, GitHub, e-mail providers) may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. This takes place on the basis of mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, in particular a European Commission adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. We will provide information on the safeguards applied on request.
6. How long we keep data
- Enquiries that did not lead to cooperation: up to 12 months from the last contact, or until consent is withdrawn or an objection is successfully raised, if earlier.
- Data related to orders and contracts: for the duration of our cooperation, and then until the limitation periods for claims expire and for the period required by tax and accounting regulations (as a rule, 5 years from the end of the tax year).
- Form submissions in the Netlify panel: we delete them periodically, at the latest within the periods given above for enquiries.
- Technical data in hosting logs: for the period set by the hosting provider, usually no longer than a few weeks.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it,
- rectification of data,
- erasure of data,
- restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, write to biuro@armatex.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO) (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl).
8. Cookies and browser storage
The website does not use cookies or any analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
The website uses browser storage (localStorage) for one purpose only: it remembers the quote list that you create yourself with the “Add” button in the catalogue and on product pages. The list contains article numbers, product names, quantities and units. It stays only on your device and is not sent to us until you transfer it to the form and submit it yourself. This is a function you request, so it does not require separate consent (Art. 399 of the Electronic Communications Law Act).
We delete the list automatically after the form is submitted. You can also delete it at any time: with the “×” button next to the items on the list or by clearing site data in your browser settings.
9. External content and services
All website files (texts, images, fonts, scripts) are loaded from our hosting, without external servers. The website contains links to other services, e.g. uodo.gov.pl. The owners of those services are responsible for their privacy policies.
10. Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to serve customers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, e.g. when we add new website features. The current version is always available on this page. If we start using cookies or analytics tools, we will ask for your consent before enabling them.
